- Historical
Center of the City: Its wonderful monuments and colonial temples
make it an interesting place to visit: Government Palace, the Municipal
Palace, the Legislative Palace, the Justice Palace, The Cathedral and
"Degollado" Theater.
- "Instituto
Cultural Cabañas": This neoclassical construction it was considered
as "The House of the Mercy" because it admitted orphans and children
whose parents could not provide them an education caused for the poverty.
Inside this magnificent construction, there is a Jose Clemente Orozco's
mural, called "The Man in flames." At the moment, classes of Dance,
Theater, etc., are imparted there, and artistic presentations and concerts
are also carried out.
- Degollado
Theater: You will see from the neoclassical style in its vault to
the Corinthian order in its columns. It is attractive internationally
for its different concerts and cultural presentations.
- Cathedral
of Guadalajara is beautiful for its mixture of Baroque, Gothic and
neoclassic influences. This architectural combination makes it an interesting
place for art lovers.

Expiatory: It is a neo-gothic style temple. It shows a quarry
facade divided in three sections, and its tops have decoration with
fired figures.

The Market Freedom: Well-known as "San Juan de Dios." It is one
of the biggest roofed markets in Mexico and where you will be able to
find crafts of different materials as ceramic, silver, glass, leather,
palm, etc. The inns and small restaurants of Mexican food are in the
superior part.

Zoo: It counts with more than 2,000 exotic animals besides 2 aviaries
and the biggest herpetary in Latin America.
